Dangerous Waters Premiere & Meet Steven Moll (show star) at the DC
Have you seen the trailer for the new Dangerous Waters Reality TV show? All we can say is “OMG!!” It looks like an adrenaline rush of a show and it features the ‘dangerous waters’ of Alaska. Beautiful and powerful, it’s Alaska seen on a SkiDoo through the eyes of five men who happen to be crazy and brave enough to make the trip from Seattle to Russia. So what does the DC have to do with this?? WELL, GCI is hosting a premiere party in the Old Navy hallway this Friday from 5pm-7pm and STEVEN MOLL, star of the new TV reality series, will be HERE AT THE MALL to chat about his adventures, sign autographs, & watch the premiere with all of us! GCI is providing pizza and drinks and the TV, of course!
This is going to be one fun event! Make sure to head down to the DC this Friday, March 30th at 5pm for the Dangerous Waters premiere and meet the star, Steven Moll!

What’s in Store: 75 children (12 & under) at Noon & 75 children (12 & under) at 4pm will scatter throughout the Dimond Center’s 2nd floor old library space in search of tasty treats & prizes disguised in fettied eggs! This is also your last day to sit with the Easter Bunny for pics.
What You Should Know: All donations will benefit local non-profit charity Children’s Meal Mission. Also, the GRAND PRIZE will be drawn at 5pm, so make sure you’ve entered. Plus, Spin-to-Win at the Guest Services Desk & Egg-cellent coupon deals are available at The Bunny Trail or when you get your picture snapped with the Easter Bunny! The Mall is CLOSED on Easter Sunday.

Alaska Health Fair Comes to the DC Mar 24th
A part of staying sane through our long, long winters is keeping positive by learning to LOVE life in Alaska. What’s the best way to do that?? Maintaining you health!
The Dimond Center is hosting the Alaska Health Fair on Saturday, March 24, 2012, from 8am-Noon. You won’t want to pass up this chance to receive greatly reduced prices – even lower than most insurance deductibles – on medical testing and advice.

Easter Bunny is Right on Schedule!
We’re headed into Spring & the much needed SUNNY WEATHER!! Beginning our celebration toward the warm of Summer is Easter! The Easter Bunny arrives at the Dimond Center Mall on March 24th and will be here through April 7th. Easter is on Sunday, April 8th (the Dimond Center is CLOSED on Easter).
Come on down to the Mall for pictures with the Easter Bunny, goodies, coupons, & family fun with the Easter Bunny & down The Bunny Trail – located down the Old Navy hallway & full of crafts for the kiddos. Also, the Dimond Center will be hosting TWO Easter Egg Hunts on April 7, 2012, Noon & 4pm (NOW CLOSED TO REGISTRATION). Both ”Hunts” will be held in the old library space (ask the Guest Services Desk for location) and will benefit Children’s Meal Mission (“CMM”), a devoted local charity that is helping to feed healthy meals to hungry children in Alaska.

- Only 75 children will be accepted to participate per Easter Egg Hunt (75 children at Noon; 75 children at 4pm-REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED – both Hunts are full!).
- Only one Easter Egg Hunt per child.
- No refunds for ‘no-show’ registrants. Not able to switch time of participation in Egg Hunt, once registered.

PLUS, this year Dimond Center Events LIVE! will again present the annual Traditional Alaska Native Dancers, with LIVE performances & broadcast from the Dimond Center Ice Chalet Friday & Saturday:
Friday, March 2, 5:30-8pm and Saturday, March 3, 12pm-6pm.

Disney Karaoke Event This Weekend!
Talk about a fun way to get out of the house and get your song on! From Noon-2pm on Saturday, January 7th, head on down to the Dimond Center and show off your vocal skill with GCI’s karaoke channel selection of the best Disney songs. You’ll get extra points if you dress in character as your favorite Beauty & the Beast personality (hoping to see a teapot, a candle stick, and a Beast & Bell couple at least!)
Of course, we’ll make it worth your while with a chance to enter to win lots of prizes, as well as a Grand Prize and Second Prize for the karaoke challenge. Prizes include tickets to the Beauty & The Beast play at the Anchorage Performing Arts Center, Dimond Center gift cards and VIP booklets, Alaska Airlines miles, and many more!
